Honey Soy Chicken Wings with Steamed Rice

Chicken Wings:
700g chicken wings, cut at the joints.
2 tablespoons honey.
3 tablespoons soy sauce.
¼ cup red wine.
1 teaspoon grated ginger.
2 garlic cloves chopped.
3 tablespoons sesame seeds.

1 cup rice.
2 cups water.
1 tablespoon oil.
1 teaspoon salt.


Heat wok to medium and brown chicken wings.
Add garlic, ginger, red wine and soy sauce.
Simmer for 5 minutes.
Toss in sesame seeds and honey.
Cook until chicken is glossy and brown.
Serve with steamed rice.

Heat oil in saucepan base.
Lightly brown rice in oil – add water and salt.
Simmer until cooked about 10 minutes.
