Mini Apple Pies
Ingredients:
3 sheets of puff pastry.
420gm pie apple.
1 teaspoon of cinamon.
1 teaspoon sugar.
icing sugar.
fresh cream.
Method:
Using a cookie cutter or large cup cut 14 circles to fit in gourmet griddle.
Place 7 circles in the rounds of the griddle.
Mix together the pie apples, sugar and cinamon.
Place a tablespoon of apple mixture in each piece of pastry.
Cover apples with remaining pastry circles- firm down to close pastry.
Cover with lid- cook on medium to low with lid vent open for 8 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool pies on wire rack to keep pastry crisp.
When cool sprinkle with icing sugar and add whipped cream on top.
