Fresh Fruit Compote
Ingredients:
4 Pears.
4 Peaches.
Small bunch green grapes.
Small bunch purple grapes.
Pinch of cinnamon.
250ml water.
250ml wine.
150g sugar.
Method:
Wash fruit & place in bowl & cover with water.
Leave to soak for up to 12 hours.
Pour the fruit & water into a saucepan, add the vanilla pod, cover & cook for 45 minutes.
Add the sugar & boil vigorously for 5 minutes.
Pour into serving bowl & leave to cool.
Remove the vanilla pod, refrigerate & serve chilled.
