General Description:

Very popular tropical fruit during the summer stone fruit season.
Usually have 1 large stone.
Can easily be eaten alone or with a squeeze of lime juice for something extra.

When ripe a mango has a sweet aroma and will be slightly soft to the touch.
A few brown speckles are also an indication of ripeness.


Selection:

Select even sized mangoes that are free from bruises.
