General Description:
Capsicums have a mild, sweet flavour with crisp juicy flesh.
Available in several varieties from least mature to most mature you'll find the Green, Red, Yellow and Orange capsicums.
As a capsicum matures it becomes sweeter.
Selection:
Look for unwrinkled shiny capsicums with well attached caps.
Avoid those with broken skins.
Nutrition Information:
All capsicums are high in Vitamin C.
Red capsicums are very high in carotenes and antioxidants.
100g of red capsicum can provide more than 2x RDI of Vitamin C.
Storage & Handling Information:
