General Description:

Dark green leafy vegetable often sold in bunches.
People mistakenly identify silverbeet for spinach.
When cooked, the volume of spinach decreases by three quarters.


Selection:

Choose bunches with leaves that are crisp and dark green with a nice fresh fragrance.
Avoid limp, damaged or discoloured bunches.
