Orange - Seville
Variety Description:
A bitter orange - well suited for making excellent tasting marmalade.
Yellow to orange in colour.
Juicy flesh with each segmented piece usually containing a couple of small seeds.
Selection:
Look for good quality oranges that are firm and heavy for their size.
Try and select those with fine textures and smooth thin skin.
Avoid those with soft spots or bruising as this indicates possible fermentation.
