Sometimes called pink grapefruit.
Equally as sweet as other grapefruit varieties.
Watermelon-coloured flesh that is tart and sweet, with the flavour of a big berry.
Full of juice, with little bitterness.

Ideally a good grapefruit will feel firm and will be springy to touch.
Try and pick fruit that feels heavy for its size because with this fruit weight is a good indicator of juice content.
The skin colour does not indicate ripeness.
