The yellow grapefruit is usually smaller and more tart than the pink.
Skin is pale yellow in colour and smooth.
Equally as sweet as other grapefruit varieties.
Contains virtually no seeds.

Ideally a good grapefruit will feel firm and will be springy to touch.
Try and pick fruit that feels heavy for its size because with this fruit weight is a good indicator of juice content.
The skin colour does not indicate ripeness.
