Grapes - White Muscat
Variety Description:
A white variety of the muscatel grape.
Muscats are known for their sweet, musky flavour.
When used for wine production the wine is spicy and floral.
Unlike most other wines, those originating from muscat grapes often smell & tastes like grapes.
Selection:
Look for grapes that are full in colour, plump and are firmly attached to their stems.
Pick bunches that have green healthy stems as brown dried up stems are a tell for grapes that have been picked a while ago.
