This variety is a cross between a 'Bowen' grapefruit and 'Dancy' tangerine.
Easily identified by its nipple-shaped stem end and deep orange colour.
Tangelos are a sweetly tart citrus fruit with a few seeds and is very juicy.
Aromatic with a thin, smooth, moderately loose rind.

Choose good quality Tangelos that are firm to slightly soft and feel heavy for their size.
Skin should be smooth without any deep indentations.
