Onion - Red Spanish
Variety Description:
A dry onion with firm red skin.
Flavour is milder than most other onion varieties.
Some varieties of red onion are fairly sweet & can be eaten raw.
Selection:
Choose onions that are clean, well shaped, very firm to pressure with no discolouration of the skin.
There should be no openings at the top or sprouting
Avoid onions with soft spots or dark patches.
