Oval to rounded shaped fruits.
Skin is dark red with green spots.
Flesh is light red early in the season turning to dark crimson later on.
Very juicy with a very sweet flavour.
Japanese plum species.

Select unwrinkled plums with smooth blemish free skins.
Avoid those with soft spots or discolourations.
The grayish sheen on plums is natural and does not effect the quality.
