Sometimes called banana peppers.
Mild and sweet in flavour.
More flavour than the common capsicum.
Shape is longer, tapered thinner in diameter compared to the common capsicum.
Flesh has moderately thick walls.

Available in several varieties from least mature to most mature you'll find the Green, Red, Yellow and Orange capsicums.
As a capsicum matures it becomes sweeter.

Look for unwrinkled shiny capsicums with well attached caps.
Avoid those with broken skins.
