Large Japanese yellow-fleshed freestone variety.
Skin colour is dark pink / red.
Flesh is usually firm but will soften if the fruit becomes overripe.
When properly ripe the flesh is sweet, juicy and firm.

Select unwrinkled plums with smooth blemish free skins.
Avoid those with soft spots or discolourations.
The grayish sheen on plums is natural and does not effect the quality.
