Red capsicum is the mature form of the green capsicum.
Is sweeter and milder in flavour compared to the green variety.
Contains 11x more beta carotene than the green capsicum.

Available in several varieties from least mature to most mature you'll find the Green, Red, Yellow and Orange capsicums.
As a capsicum matures it becomes sweeter.


Selection:

Look for unwrinkled shiny capsicums with well attached caps.
Avoid those with broken skins.
